Description
Solitaire Passito di Verdea is a rich and enveloping white passito wine born from an old local tradition of the Collina del Milanese, based on keeping the finest Verdea bunches until the Christmas season. Made from 100% Verdea grapes, it offers an intense and generous profile, with elegant sweetness and a soft, velvety texture. It is ideal as a dessert wine and meditation wine, and also pairs well with pungent cheeses and dry pastries.

- Harvest: Harvested at the end of September in small crates of about 5 kg
- Vinification: Once optimal ripeness is reached, the grapes are harvested in small crates, transported to the winery and placed in a dedicated drying room, where they remain until Christmas. They are then gently pressed. The very sweet must ferments for 6 months in small barrels and matures in small stainless steel tanks.

- Food pairings: Dessert wine, ideal with pungent cheeses, dry cakes and cantucci; also excellent as a meditation wine
- Ageing potential: One year at the producer’s cellar; suitable for further ageing by the buyer for 5–6 years
