Description

Quercia del Serpente is an organic Toscana Rosso IGT produced exclusively from Syrah grapes grown in the Scansano area. It is an intense, elegant and full-bodied wine, aged for 18 months in French oak and then refined for a further 24 months in the bottle.

  • Colour: Intense ruby red with purple edges.
  • Aroma: Complex and very intense, with notes of sour cherry and blueberry combined with elegant spicy hints of black pepper and cloves. Subtle aromas of tobacco and cocoa complete the bouquet, together with well-integrated woody notes.
  • Taste: Soft and enveloping, with velvety tannins, an elegant structure and excellent persistence.
