On the hills near Vulture are the vineyards of Casa Maschito.
We are in Basilicata, in the province of Potenza. Here, in 1999, some young entrepreneur friends decided to purchase ten hectares of land to establish a winemaking company. Today, the Casa Maschito winery produces about 60,000 bottles a year, offering a range of high-quality wines based on Malvasia, Moscato, and of course Aglianico.

The Riccardi family's winemaking history began in the late 1800s, with grapes from their vineyards being processed in the old wine cellar of San Rocco's oratory in San Colombano. Initially, the wine was for personal use or bartering.
In the late 1960s, after his father's death, Enrico Riccardi took over the business and created two important wines: Verdea la Tonsa and Roverone. In 1980, he moved the winery to a hilltop among their vineyards, making it one of the most charming winemaking realities in San Colombano. Along with his wife Giovanna, he invested in vineyard care and the company's image.
Today, their son Gianenrico continues the winemaking tradition with the same passion and entrepreneurial spirit.

In the heart of the Castelli Romani, just 25 kilometers from the center of the Capital, to the southeast, you will find the Colonna Estate, which represents the original core of the Pallavicini family's winemaking activity. Today it covers approximately 80 hectares in total, of which 65 are vineyards, including 50 with white grapes and 15 with red grapes, as well as 4000 ancient olive trees of the varieties Leccino, Frantoio Moraiolo, Carboncella, Rosciola, and Itrana, all characterized by a predominantly hilly location at altitudes between 100 and 300 meters with a south-western orientation on limestone, clayey, well-drained soils. The estate consists of three parts: Colonna, Pasolina, and Marmorelle.

Rivera was born in 1940 from the mind of Giuseppe de Corato's son, Sebastiano, with the visionary spirit of creating a Puglia label that could compete with the great national and international wines. Located in the countryside of Andria, on the plateau between the Murgia hills and the Adriatic Sea, the Rivera estates are a symbol of the history and agricultural development of an entire territory. 75 hectares of property, trained with spurred cordon and guyot, with a high density of vines per hectare and low unit production, cultivated according to sustainable agriculture protocols. A winemaking project that focuses entirely on quality, to best express the terroirs from which the company's grapes originate.

Our history dates back to 1536 when Mr. Bortolo Meneghello began cultivating his vineyards on the hills of the Alpone Valley. Inspired by the gentle landscapes of Lake Garda, Mr. Bortolo pruned, harvested, and vinified, passing his passion down to his children and grandchildren. Since then, 13 uninterrupted generations have followed, jealously guarding the family’s secrets and traditions. Today, new people carry on this tradition with the same enthusiasm. In 2023, the Villa Meneghello project was born. The protagonists are Giancarlo Nicolis, with his winemaking experience, and the Delaini family, entrepreneurs and masters in tourism and hospitality. From the meeting of these two families, a new company was born, which, by carefully harvesting and working with fine grapes, transforms them into quality wines.
